Some of the bad stuff was a long time coming, and only represented the staw that broke the camel's back, but what's done is done.
To my (relatively certain) knowledge, it is an LG 49UH610V. I hadn't been anticipating one this large (I was told that the 43" 4K wasn't available, and would I take a 49" HD instead, and I grudgingly said yes), but I'm not going to say no to the best of both worlds (and this is also why I'm not 100% sure - my email records have say something entirely different).
Upscaling is excellent for now, and it's ready for when the money is there to upgrade everything else to 4K.
