So Close You Can Taste It...
May. 25th, 2006 01:01 pm...Locko Park beckons, and if Emma hadn't been around to anchor me in reality, I might have already downed tools and drifted off towards it.
Rhinyn's attitude will be slightly at odds with the typically light atmosphere at the heartlands this year, and he may well be seeking out others who think the world is going to end and indulging in mass angsting sessions that will draw black clouds away from the rest of the site and towards wherver they are. How a man wearing two black armbands, possibly missing a knife and slightly favouring his left leg will do in the games I dont know, but I'm sure I'll find him something to get involved in.
Also not sure how putting together kit for another character - including a trip to Tallows this weekend to see a man about a rapier - is going to fit with the computer outlay having finally been completed, but stringent budgetting of other finances will doubtlessly come into it.
DarkStar One continues to look impressive to me but, as usual with game releases, is being pushed back all the time and is now scheduled to be released in August. At one point we were looking at the nineteenth of June - how things change...
I'm toying the idea of asking to play TL if I'm still in the area next year. What is being suggested leans towards what I always wanted, and while it could never go as far as a filthy extremist like myself would wish for, it would be nice to fit a TL character round a setting, rather than vice versa. All dependant on being somewhere near Bath come October, and what else I hear about it between now and then.
Right - kit, check; clothes, check; weapons, absent (plot); camping gear, check. Driver, Locko Park - and don't even consider sparing the horses.
