...of working six days a week. Both my parents do it, and complain about it, and I have decided in three weeks flat that I'm damned if I'm going to as well.

I used to enjoy weekends - the joy of getting up at gone midday and doing nothing all day, before going to bad late as I felt like and being able to get up whenever I needed to to be able to get to the LARP on time. It didn't matter if I'd been to bed at four or five, I could get up at nine with no trouble whatsoever because I'd had thirteen hours sleep the previous evening. I do so hate having to live reasonably, and working on Saturdays means I have had to. The PhD won't get done any other way, but if Emma wasn't around to make it all better it would be having a fair crack at ruining my life for the moment. Her presence makes this this is a pointless rant, but thanks for listening anyway.

I might actually hand Keiran another chapter tomorrow. This is cause for celebration.

So, Sunday's LARP. Well, yes. Hoo-bloody-ray for original plot - you wait ages for any, then the Shire and these games come along at once. The vision in order to create what went down last week and will go down next Sunday is obviously fantastically far and wide, particularly with how long it's been building to a conclusion, though I do have the odd fear about the future (and no, that isn't a pun). Hopefully next week will show them to be unfounded paranoid ravings I am becoming fairly famous in my own head for experiencing. People seemed to enjoy themselves, a lot must have being done very right indeed.
Considering the people in the player party, I don't think they were pushed that hard as far as usage of stats was concerned - certainly some people didn't appear to get hurt all day - but there's always next week to kill them, and a fair number of them got enough roleplay to make up for it in spades. To be continued...
