Several months ago, marmaladecat lent helbling a couple of albums by Within Temptation, as a possible (superior) alternative to Evanescence. I got round to listening to them properly yesterday evening, and blow me if the one remaining theme I hadn't assigned to my queue of characters wasn't fired through my speakers at me. It was an important one, too - I'm bringing him out in less than twelve months.

I like the albums in general, which is probably a testament to how much my tastes in music have changed since I've been involved with roleplayers. It's just a pity that a quick search of Youtube reveals some of the worst live performances I've ever seen.
