Okay, So I Can Handle...
Nov. 23rd, 2009 06:18 pm...having to act as procedural consultant for my fellow CRs.
Obviously, I shouldn't have to, but they are at least supposed to be on the same level as, or even slightly behind, me.
I get a little more narked when I have to show a Customer Account Manager how to do their job properly, particularly when they not only come to me for help, but don't even have the courtesy to listen to me and get it wrong again. I can get over it, though - they're not that far out ahead of me in terms of salary and perceived responsibility.
I have a geniune problem, however, when I have to shore up my Operations Manager, who should be training me, and has a salary and responsibilities to match. Who's running this bloody branch again?
There's only one level higher within the branch, and if he comes knocking for help, I'm demanding a job switch.
