Feb. 23rd, 2010 04:41 pm...to try to reach as many Wolfsburgers in as short a space of time as possible.
Kay has, as you probably already know, quite reasonably decided that organising a Wolfsburg event would be one thing too many at the moment for her, so I have offered to take over to see if there is anything viable that can come out of what she's already done, and to subsequently organise if there is.
Black Hills (where we held the last group event) offered her three weekends they had spare at the time she contacted them. Unfortunately, one of these was the weekend of the faction event, and another the weekend of Ant & Flick's wedding, so they were both out from the start. However, the weekend before the wedding is, as I type, still free.
My question to people is, would anyone be interested in a Wolfsburg group event on the weekend of the 9/10/11th of April? Or is that weekend just too close to the wedding? If there is sufficient interest, the other things can come later, but I didn't want to crack on with the full raft of organisational wah if it was deemed not a good idea from the start.
So, snap decision, people: Getting our Wolfsburg on on 09/04 - good idea/bad idea?
