Post WitW GBU...
Nov. 1st, 2010 06:10 pm...with a character redux to follow, perhaps.
The Good
Surviving. This is a PvP system, after all.
Carrying out my first legitimate trades, backed up by deeds of sale and recipts.
Getting to use my funeral rites for the first time, even if it was a rushed affair.
Ferreton. Having an enclave that was emphatically not-weasel was definitely a good thing.
Abusing weasels through the medium of song.
Kidnapping a member of the 3rd through the medium of aggressive licking.
Clean sweep at the science fair - then cleaning out one of the MCs for all of his gear.
The spontaneous Itchy/Buttercup double act giving ever-so-subtle fuck off signals on demand.
Ever ramping upwards tensions between ferrets and weasels. One day, it'll all go horribly wrong, but right now the roleplay is awesome.
Pistol-in-the-face diplomacy, for a good two minutes straight, and being one of only two reasons why war didn't start.
Getting big compliments over my quest to appear quietly insane.
Becoming the go-to guy for rabbit slaves, and well on my way to being the leading non-rabbit expert on things rabbit.
Steerpike's player wanting to join WITS when he dies.
Finally successfully brewing a poison.
The Bad
Missing Emma due to her not being able to make it with illness.
Still don't like PvP.
Still got to find half the world's supply of meat. We're in a much better position than I thought we would be, but it's still a beef mountain to climb.
Still feel like I'm a child playing with grown-ups when it comes to tradefest.
Still feel like my characterisation is something akin to dipping a toe into a swimming pool and shivering with the cold.
Still useless at IC area set up and take down.
Not remembering anyone's names, either IC or OOC. Very, very annoying.
Mask - oh dear sweet unholy fuck, the mask. I need to attack it with mastic remover to see if I can get it back to where it used to be (i.e. relatively adhesive to my face).
Jon still thinking he's welcome around me or my property.
