Second category. In slightly younger days (pre-university) I would almost certainly have tried to be in the first category but my parents probably would have grounded me for making the placards so they would have been proudly displayed in my window while I stared out with a pair of binoculars watching to see what the little green men really looked like and keeping my radio tuned to a random white noise station to see if I could get their radar.
