My landlord, whilst perhaps slightly ineffective, gave me absolutely no problems, and even sent a note with my (full) deposit thanking me for being a good tenant (the fact I was never really there probably helped) and wishing me all the best for the future. I'm not volunteering myself for the ritual sacrifice though.
