...it's not just a small proportion of people who blame rape victims.

As the survey says, more than half the country's at it.

It depresses me less that this attitude exists than the fact that if you look at some of the numbers (and some of the comments on the article by victims and relations thereof), people who actually blame the perpetrator are in a very significant minority indeed.

I hate my country sometimes.

There aren't enough daisy-cutter bombs left in the world for all the people that deserve them in this country alone. Have to go with the land mines instead.
