I heard the exact opposite account from someone which dampened my burning enthusiasm to go see it. I don't know if they had ever seen the original....So you're saying good?

I am saying easily the best sequel I have seen since Terminator 2. It has its bad points, definitely, but they are outshone by the sheer glaring awesomeness of it all. You will laugh out loud at points, and you will never find yourself taking it seriously, but it's the most fun I've had in a cinema for years. Possibly ever.
