Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. It is your flist's mission, should they choose to accept it, to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list. Then they post their own list in their journal and the process continues!

Edmund Blackadder (Blackadder the Third)
High King Artur Hawkwing (Robert Jordan - The Wheel of Time)
Sharrow (Iain M. Banks - Against A Dark Background)
Queen Antonia Bayle (Sony Online Entertainment - EverQuest II)
The GCU Grey Area (Iain M. Banks - Excession)
Anafiel Delaunay (Jaqueline Carey - Kushiel's Dart)
Asmodean (Robert Jordan - The Wheel of Time)
Yeah, some of those are obscure - mneh, I say.
