...I bit this one, so I have to post it too.

Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. It is your flist's mission, should they choose to accept it, to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list. Then they post their own list in their journal and the process continues!

I got your letter six months ago. I don't know quite how you managed to get it to me, but I thank you. It's nice to know I'm not completely forgotten by my friends.

Things have progressed since you wrote that message. I assume you've heard of the movements by the Huhsz in the World Court. Waste of everyone's time; it's a foregone conclusion. They'll get the hunting passport and every thug in orbit round Thrial will suddenly remember where I am.

I don't like asking, but I may need shelter, boltholes to run to when the Huhsz close. I'll need to know where I'm safe.

If my run takes me near your estate, can I count on you?

Apologies that his Royal Nincompoop sees fit to bother you Doug - he doesn't even understand why he's congratulating you. If you can escape from this dinner he is planning, by any means possible, do so; his "interesting topics" are the new socks he has had especially commissioned. If I only had a fraction of his money...

But you know what I would do in those circumstance. If you would like to meet me at Mrs Miggins' Coffee shop, I promise to try and buy you one that doesn't taste like ditch water and pig slop, to celebrate your recent employment.

Dear Doug

I have no time to explain but suffice it to say that reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated although I can't say the same for that fool Rhavin. I have just left Andor and am heading south. I cannot tell you my exact destination as Lews Therin is bound to give chase as soon as he realizes I am gone. He knows that he is nothing without my knowledge to support him.
I must evade him until I can throw of this accursed shield and regained my full strength and I will need you aid. Please meet my where the lady holds her crystal high.
