No, 1413am...No, That's Not The Time...

...my paternal grandmother. What a wonderful old woman.

And what a dippy one.

1413am or 104.7FM, tomorrow at five in the evening or Christmas morning at nine.

This particular line took us twenty minutes to explain to her in a way she could understand, after she had asked when she could listen to me hiccup my way through silent night sing my solo on the radio. She had got as far as 14.1.3 in the morning, though what time that corresponds to for those of using a standard calendar and clock format is above and beyond me. If it were simply 14.1.3, I could feasibly understand that she thought it was a couple of years ago, but 14.1.3 in the morning?
She then rang us up when we got home to check the times again. If she actually gets to listen to it, I'll be almost eternally surprised.

I really have to stop repeatedly replying to LJ entries. I'm beginning to sound like a certain Karen/Molly entity that I could quite happily shoot myself while confident that I was doing the world a service if I were ever to begin to emulate.

Let's see if this actually works - it's a reccommended remedy.

No one could put you in the same category as Karen/Molly. She stirs up trouble. She disagrees with everything everyone else says, and then turns around and uses people's words in a twisted way against them. You merely state your, often very valuable, opinion.

I amways like people to reply to my LJ. Like it really needs saying I'm rather egocentric when I can get away with it. I like knowing people read, and have an opinion about, what I write.

Incindently, I will endeavour to listen to the broadcast online this afternoon, if we don't find the speakers in time then I will certainly listen later in the week.

Very much disagree that you could ever sound like Karen/Molly, from what I've heard of her. I know I love getting replies on my entries, be they repeat or otherwise, but that's probably because I'm a closet attention whore...
