...and I should have pulled my finger out earlier.

This sixteen page program I was coming up with in just under a week has reminded me of something: The eight page one I did for Oklahoma.

Which took a month to get right.

Ah, shit.

I now have most of the photos, most of the information, and just need to go factfinding on the first performance of Sweet Charity and 1960's New York, before assembling it and the rest of the information on eight skeletal draft pages along with whatever the rest of the committee want to give me. And formatting it. And putting pictorial backgrounds on all pages. And photoshopping said pictures. And converting the job lot to pdf.

There goes my week.

The LARP on Sunday rocked the house, and just about managed to overshadow the terrible weather - LARP is, after all, an outdoor pastime and players should expect dodgy conditions around this time of year. The gameplay was good, the players seemed to enjoy themselves, and there were some kicking fights, despite the fact that the majority of the monsters were nowhere near the level of the party. A testament to the fact that a swarm of spods that take most damage is more fun than, and just as dangerous as, a couple of big immune-to-everything gribblies (Attn: Unicorns Plot Team).
I will not pass comment on the current situation of Dave's high-level game, save to say that I am consciously, militantly not commenting on it. The waters don't need clouding any more than they already are.

Hopefully by tomorrow, the ICIA will provide me with a pretty picture of how the theatre will look once I leave the University, so I can put it in the program and tell everyone how cool it will be...once I've left the university. I'm sure the extra space, changing rooms and dedicated technical support will be precisely what student theatre in Bath has been crying out for - it's just a pity that I won't be able to enjoy it, and with the number of professional companies that will want a piece of the state-of-the-art facilities, the students probably won't either.
