I'm saying that as clearly as I can to avoid equivocation. What other people are capable of is different to what I can do, and everyone pointing out how they can do characters without any kind of history doesn't exactly help.

Surely being a member of a Barony patrol corps isn't a wild and wacky life? It's butchering people left, right and centre for four hours a week and occasionally being jobbed from behind for your troubles. Juilin had more fun in the libraries than patrolling, but he wanted to help the world so he went out on it. A lot of the time, all he ended up doing was killing things to make sure other party members didn't take them prisoner.
