Negelected For So Long...

...is the tune of just about everything that isn't my PhD.

I am a country mile behind with Starke's introduction, and am frantically abstracting things down so they can still happen in the remaining twenty-four days before we time in. I'm missing Amber tonight, on the triple-headed basis that I'm checking, I haven't written Lexan's diary and have no coffee to offer people because I haven't roasted any. I want to write about the 36hr and make macros off the photos, but they take time, and I have to check and QC each page. I've ignored LJ and people I enjoy hearing about. I've been absentminded at work and blown giant holes in my banked flexi. I haven't called home in too long.

However, all things come to an end.

Hear that? Listen, down to my right. Hear that whirring?

That's my printer. It's been at it since last night. God willing, I'll hand in tomorrow.

Typical, on one of the weekends I won't be around to buy you a "congratulations for killing the PhD" drink as well ;)

Wow, my fingers are crossed for handing in tomorrow. And when you have, and only then, will I offer my congratulations. I refuse to tempt fate.
